This is for a
1940's Lionel Train V Transformer 150 Watts of Train Power.
It is one of the bigger
Lionel transformers
and has four independent circuits to operate four trains with circuit breaker. The V puts out about 25-Volts AC on each of the 4 power circuit. (Similar in Design to the famous 250 Watt Z Transformer,, the pre-successor to the 275 watt ZW.)  The V is a reliable transformers  and should meet your Train's Layout power needs.
The transformer looks in to be in good overall well used condition. I test plugged it into the outlet and the green light comes on to show it is working and putting out power  I also tested each of the 4 main power circuits and they all have about 25 volts AC of ample power; and that is
just what is required to run the older Lionel Postwar, Prewar and  Standard Gauge Trains that need a lot of power to the rail.
Also great to operate accessories, rather than overload your transformer circuit supplying power to your trains. The outer case is in good used condition, but has a small hairline stress crack..  (It has a replacement power cord.) All of the terminals are sound and good. Since it is a pre-owned piece, it is sold as-is.
Proudly made in the USA, not that new stuff made in China and other places overseas. This power supply will work with O Gauge, O-27, Super O Trains all of all types and manufacturers. Also works with almost all other train sets including S gauge American Flyer, Mike Train House Trains MTH, Weaver, Atlas, K-line, Marx, Marklin, and even HO for powering accessories. A real deal with all of this train operating power.
